ATV & Razor Guides
Join the Adventure! Lawson Adventure Park & Resort is accepting applications for ATV Guides. If you love driving through the mountains, scenic views, and Colorado adventure this is the place for you!
Description:
We run 1 and 2 hour ATV & Razor tours! There are several trails we use, but most frequently the one closest to our park. Guests are shuttled in a van to the drop off point and guides always lead in the first vehicle. Guests are given safety instructions and knowledge of vehicle operation.
Then guests follow the guide up the weaving trail into the mountains, which feature some incredible views!
We have 3 start times for ATV & Razor trips per day and can usually take between 2 to 35 guests per trip.
ATV season is almost year round, typically running from the beginning of May to November or even December.
Note: We will be hosting ATV training sessions May 13-17 and June 3-7 onsite. Payment will need to be submitted for training before the chosen session begins. Activity season starts in May.
Responsibilities include:
- Guiding groups of guests up a mountain trail for varying lengths of time
- Sharing information on some brief local history
- Following all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
- Trained on ATV driving
- Ensure guests enjoy their time
Requirements:
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License
- Training must be completed (either May 13-17 and June 3-7)
- Problem solving skills
- Capable of positive guest interaction, engaging in conversation, making the attractions fun for everyone involved
- Naturally outgoing and positive attitude
- Must not be afraid of heights as some of the tours reach high elevations
- CPR certification (Must acquire if hired uncertified. A CPR Training class will be hosted onsite on May 18th and payment must be submitted before the class is taken)
Compensation:
- Pay will be per hour with additional compensation based on experience level
- New Guides: $13.86 – $14.50
- Trip Lead: $14.11 – $15.25

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Experience: 1 year ATV Driving (preferred)
Education: High school
Driver’s License/ CPR/First Aid Required (We may be able to provide CPR training onsite)
