Where do we check in for lodging and park activities?

Check in will be at our park located at  3440 Alvarado, Lawson Co, 80436.

Our friendly staff will be more than happy to serve you a cold beverage while you enjoy the scenery on our upstairs deck.

Are we tiny homes or cabins? We are a combination of both. Each cabin interior is decorated in its own theme. We have modern and rustic designs for your taste. All cabins have a bedroom, bathroom, and a kitchen.

Can I rent more than one cabin? Yes, please see our Lodging Policy for deposits and cancellations. Pricing and minimum stays are subject to change.

Is there Wi-Fi in the park and cabins? Yes, there is wi-fi in the park. Each cabin has cable and wi-fi. Cell phone reception is very weak in the mountains.

Is there dining at the park? Currently we do not serve food quite yet, but there are a variety of snack items to choose from. There is dining just a short distance in either direction from Empire, Idaho Springs, and Georgetown.

Are the park activities included with lodging? No, activities are separate, but we can add them to your billing as you like.

Do I need to make reservations for all the activities? Yes, YES, all guided activities require at least 48 hours advance notice. Please call 855.372.7238 with any and all questions to ensure you book your adventure!

If I have an all-day pass or hourly package do I still need to make a reservation? Yes, to ensure a good visit to our park our guides need to know when you are showing up. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your adventure time to ensure all waivers are completed and rules explained.

What do I need to wear? The Challenge and Via Ferrata, and Zip-line require closed toe shoes, no Chacos, no Crocs, no sandals, no exceptions. Our property has a lot of vertical elements that do not do well with flip-flops. The weather changes daily, so please check the weather for your planned day at the park.

Do I tip my guides? Guiding in Colorado is part of the service industry. Although it is not required our guides greatly appreciate tips.

Do you serve alcoholic beverages? Yes, however, due to state and county liquor laws outside alcohol absolutely cannot be brought onto the property. ie; cabin, attractions, etc.

Is there air conditioning in the cabins? No, but our cool nights and breezes leave the summer cabins feeling nice and cool. We also have ceiling fans, desk fans, and plenty of windows to keep you cool.

Is there electricity or heat in the yurts? No, this is on purpose to give you the camping experience?

Can we use the fire pits? This is dependent on the county and whether there is a fire ban in effect at the time of your booking.

Are there quiet hours? Yes, please be respectful of those around. We observe quiet hours from 10 p.m. till 7 a.m.

Do you have a lost and found? Yes, all items found in the park will be returned to the check-in center. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items in our park or check-in center.

What is the weather like? Colorado truly has all four seasons and mountain weather can change suddenly, so please dress accordingly.

Spring: Snow is still flying and temperatures can dip into the teens and rise up to the 50s.

Summer: Cool nights and highs can sometimes reach into the low 90s. Thunderstorms come and go quickly and rarely last all day. Sunscreen is highly recommended.

Fall: Highs in the 50s are common and expect lows in the 30s. Snow is not uncommon leading up to winter. Perfect time to take a short drive and see the changing of the leaves.

Winter: The snow is flying. Lows can be single digits and highs in the 20s are the norm. Please keep updated on weather conditions and road conditions when traveling.
