Colorado is one of the best places to ski and snowboard in the United States. The Rocky Mountains offer some incredible views and some great slopes to shred. Here is a list of our recommendations for skiing near our mountain resort for close access to winter adventure!
Located just 20 miles from our resort, Loveland is Colorado’s true winter wonderland and is near to the hearts of generations of Colorado skiers. They offer a wide variety of ski lessons, have clothing a equipment rentals, and is the first ski area off of I-70 coming from Denver.
Around this time of year we offer our Ski & Stay package for those who want to save on a relaxing stay in one of our fully-furnished cabins with adult tickets to Loveland Ski Area. This package applies to weekday stays, with a 2 weeknight minimum to book. The package includes 15% off each night of lodging and up to 4 ski tickets. Ski & Stay on a weekday and avoid the crowds and traffic!
Located just 25 miles from our park. This ski resort is aimed for beginner and intermediate riders!
They offer lessons, have ski rentals, and also feature a Tune Shop for those who need repairs to their snowboards and skis. And keep an eye out for some of our own raft guides -there are several who raft the summer with us and ski the winter at A-Basin!
Located just 27 miles from our park, Winter Park offers everything you can think of for winter adventure!
Snowtubing, ice skating, a s’mores & snowcat tour, and a wide variety of different activities! Grand Adventure snowmobile tours are located at Winter Park. They also have lessons and rentals available in the area.
Owned by Vail resorts, Keystone is located just 30 miles from our park and gives the perfect views while shredding the snow!
Keystone is one of the most widely known ski areas in Colorado, in part because it also offers a wide variety of activities including snowtubing, horse sleigh rides, and ice skating.
Take a trip over to Echo Mountain located 25 miles from our park. Echo Mountain is a great place for families and first timers to hit the slopes!
They also have lessons, rentals, and the option to ski or snowtube at night!
