The Best Corporate Retreats And Team Bonding Idea

Are you interested in booking a corporate retreat for your company? Do you want to find the best corporate retreat venues to hold them at? If so, then you need to start by putting together a few different corporate retreat ideas for your company to consider.

Doing so can help build morale amongst your team, brainstorm new services or ideas, give you a fun way to train your staff, and even reduce the turnover of your team. Needless, to say, there’s a high return on investment!

See below for some of the best corporate retreat activities that you should consider for your company’s big team getaway!

Whitewater Rafting

They say that adventure builds connection amongst those that you share the adventure with. If that’s the case, then there’s no better place to hold your corporate retreat than with Lawson Adventure Park & Resort.

We have a plethora of fun-filled adventures for your team, all with exclusive group pricing to make the purchase that much more cost-effective for your business.

Many companies have taken advantage of our whitewater rafting adventures, which feature an action-packed 2 to 3-hour event. You can raft down Clear Creek with one of two packages: our beginner rafting and advanced rafting options.

Each package includes a guide to help assist you during your adventure, as well as each of the following options for each person:

  • Helmet
  • Booties
  • Wetsuit
  • Towels
  • Jacket

We recommend that you bring a water bottle, some snacks, and sunscreen, as well as some clothes that you don’t mind getting wet. There’s a high likelihood that you get wet! Our group rates are as follows:

  • 15-percent off for groups of 12 or more
  • 20-percent off for groups of 24 or more
  • 25-percent off for groups of 48 or more

Our rafts hold 4 to 6 people each, so we recommend pairing people together that don’t usually get to be around each other at the office. For example, you might consider mixing up departments to increase the morale-boosting at this unforgettable event!

Ziplining

Perhaps you’re looking for an unforgettable thrill that will push your staff out of their comfort zone. Maybe you want them to experience an adventure, but don’t want to sign them up for one that will get them soaked.

If so, then ziplining is a tremendous team-building activity. While you will have to go one person at a time, you’ll all share the same experience flying over the beautiful scenery of the Colorado Rockies.

Haven’t ziplined before? No problem! Our ziplining activities at Lawson Adventure Park & Resort are introductory, so we’ll guide you through the entire process.

A few things to know, our ziplining activity includes a guide for all activities, as well as:

  • Helmet
  • Gear
  • Harness
  • Safety Procedures Training

Although the activity should only take 30-minutes to an hour (depending on your group’s size), we recommend bringing water and a snack. We also have a food truck and the Basecamp Bar where you can purchase food and drink.

Close-toed shoes are required, so make sure your staff packs them. Wear comfortable clothing! Ziplining times are at 10:30 am or 1:30 pm. The 10:30 am option is perfect for those of you booking an overnight retreat (more on that below).

Overnight Retreat

Perhaps you’re wondering “how can I book corporate retreat activities near me that are low-key, yet breath-taking?”. Maybe you want to book a multiple-day trip for your staff to maximize the time that you have together.

If so, then you need to book an overnight retreat at the Lawson Adventure Park & Resort.

It’s a perfect option for any time of the year. Book a few cabins for your staff to enjoy a winter stay getaway in the Rockies. Book a summer retreat to pack it with adventurous corporate retreat activities such as whitewater rafting and ziplining.

We offer two options for lodging:

  • Cabins: Fully furnished with a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and a kitchen.
  • Yurts: heated, single-room with bunk beds, feels like camping in a tent.

Via Ferrata Guided Mountain Climb

If you’re wanting to book a life-changing activity for your staff, then our Via Ferrata guided mountain climb is the way to go. The climb extends over 250 feet up and offers breathtaking views of Clear Creek County on your way up.

The best part is that it pairs with our zipline (which was previously mentioned). You can traverse up to the zip platform, then glide down to the bottom from the zipline for an experience unlike any other.

This activity generally lasts for around an hour and a half, at most. So between it and the zipline, you might want to plan for it to take about 2 hours in total in your itinerary.

All Terrain

As the name would imply, this incredible package includes our Via Ferrata climb, zipline, and whitewater rafting all in one exclusive pack!

It’s perfect for those of you looking to justify the corporate retreat for your company’s budget or those of you that can’t choose between all the options listed above.

With all activities combined, the all-terrain package generally takes around 5 hours from start to finish. We highly recommend that you pair it with one of our overnight packages!
